  Altshuler Berzon LLP is a San Francisco law firm that specializes in labor and employment, environmental, constitutional, campaign and election, and civil rights law. Although most of our cases are in federal and state courts in California, we appear regularly in courts throughout the country and before the National Labor Relations Board.

The Bay Institute Presents Environmental Award to Altshuler Berzon LLP Attorney Hamilton Candee

The Bay Institute presented its Carla Bard Bay Education Award to Altshuler Berzon LLP attorney Hamilton (Hal) Candee on September 17, 2008 in recognition of his achievements in California water litigation. Hal Candee joined Altshuler Berzon as of counsel in March 2008 after 23 years with the Natural Resources Defense Counsel (NRDC), where he served as a Senior Attorney and Co-Director of NRDC's Western Water Project. He continues to represent NRDC and The Bay Institute on a number of matters, including restoration of the San Joaquin River.
